STYLE THAT WEEK 9 RESULTS

Style That is a styling event at Finesmith Designs that was the brain child of Rissa Friller and Markski Glom with Yula Finesmith providing the free jewelry to be styled. Tuesday was the last weekly competition for the Finesmith Style That event. Next Tuesday, May 31, will be the finale with each of the nine weekly winners competing. This should really be something to see because nine of the most creative stylists in SL will be there styling jewelry of the most creative jeweler in SL.

Each week the judges have had a very difficult time selecting just one stylist. This week was no exception as you can see from the photos below.

FINESMITH "11 ROOMS" VIDEOS AND BLOG

If you missed the show featuring the March and April Inspiration pieces, don't despair. There have been blogs and videos to show you what this amazing show was like. The show was produced by blackLiquid Tokyoska of KABUKI boutique. Each model was chosen through the Inspiration Muse monthly castings and the featured jewelry was inspired by the model wearing it.

Diamanta Mathilde produced the official video—a phenomenal work that includes action, music, and DJ Louise Roundel reading the script written by Xenobia Foxclaw.

MIMMI

When Yula met Mimmi the first time, it was her first show with Boulevard Agency. She told Yula that, anytime she wanted her to photograph her, Yula just had to say so. Mimmi was very generous, and this vote of confidence touched Yula, but she was new and shy. A long time passed since that time, and it was always on Yula's mind. They met later a few more times, and they always kept in touch. Mimmi did shows wearing Finesmith, and she made a show for Yula with the Evane Agency, but Yula never found the right moment to create something that said to her, "Oh, that's Mimmi!"

This time it happened—flowers and pearls set in an elegant chic way totally screamed "Mimmi." Mimmi was online, and Yula offered. Mimmi agreed, and after they talked, Yula added a sweet tiara, some details, and some colors.

That's the whole story—the Mimmi set is ready in the store in 5 colors and at a great price. Yula wants to thank Mimmi Boa for her generosity and for being an inspiration and Falbala Fairey for shooting the photo for the vendor.

That master of design, Yula Finesmith, has set out not one, not two, but three items for sale at 55L each today. There are a pair of pink wire earrings, a set of salmon fingernails, and a pair of blue and yellow barcode bracelets. The colors are even better in SL. The sale runs from 7:00 a.m. SLT on May 19 until 7:00 a.m. SLT on May 20. See you there.

FINESMITH "STYLE THAT" WEEK 8

Tuesday morning's Style That event was as tough as the other seven have been—and that's saying a lot. Shortly after 9:00 a.m. SLT Yula set out the item for the challenge—a bit late due to lag. The pickup time was extended a bit because the beginning was a bit late.

This was probably the most fun we've had for the pickup time, because one of the Finesmith Jewelry Group members got stuck in Edit Appearance mode. No idea how that happened, but the good thing that she was laughing about it. Some might have been upset or angry, but she just laughed and laughed. When all of our suggestions failed to help, she relogged. Yula had probably been monitoring the situation, because the item was still out long enough for the stuck member to get back and get it.

While members were styling, Finesmith Manager Markski Glom was styling too. Markski, however, could not enter, so he served as one of the judges.

At 11:00 stylists were back to show off their styles. You can see below just how great the styling was:
